Clean and Clear Soft Day Moisturizer Review

I recently just got this moisturizer and I am loving it! It keeps my skin moisturized and baby soft! Here's what I like about it:

Pros:
- makes my skin very moisturized but not oily
- light fresh scent
- when it is absorbed, my skin is SO soft
- SPF 15
- VERY affordable (112 mL for $5 CAN)
- haven't broken me out (I have acne prone skin combination skin)

Cons:
- bulky packaging

This works great before using my foundation because it creates a smooth base for my makeup~~ You can get it at any drug store or walmart near you :) Have you guys tried the night one and the in-shower facial? If you have, let me know what you think! I want to try them both too!

Neutrogena Sunscreen Review

** I rarely do reviews and hauls, if you want a great blog for those, check out: sizbelle

In the summer, it is SO important to protect yourself from the sun. Even though it's nice to have the sun out and all, the sun can cause skin cancer and premature aging. Make sure you use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 everyday to prevent this! Many people (like myself) hate using sunscreen because of the thick consistency, oilyness, and white marks that it leaves. BUT! I found this sunscreen from Neutrogena that is lightweight and non-greasy which is AWESOME!

Product: 9/10
Packaging: 10/10
Quality: 9/10
Overall: 9.5/10
Where to buy: Shoppers Drug Mart, Pharmaplus, Walmart, Zellers, Loblaws, etc (pretty much anywhere that sells skincare products)
Price: $12.99
Would I buy again: Definately!

The product
description on the back:
Protects: SPF 45 sunscreen provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection against sun's harmful rays. Moisturizes: Lightweight, non-greasy formula absorbs quickly and keeps skin hydrated all day. Non-comedogenic: Won't clog pores, which can cause breakouts.

What I like about it:
  • SPF 45 !!!!! and BOTH UVA and UVB protection
  • Like it states, its VERY lightweight and non-greasy
  • Absorbs into skin very quickly and keeps my skin moisturized
  • The packaging is very nice and the squeeze-tube makes it easy to dispense
  • Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)
  • I only need to use very little product to cover up whole face
  • Does not leave behind white streaks or a white cast over face (like most sunscreens)
What I don't like about it:
  • My only dislike: the scent smells like usual sunscreen
  • I would have rather tried the tinted version but they did not have it in stock @ Shoppers
***EXTRA BONUS: I love using this suncreen as a primer for my Skinfood Aloe BB cream because it gives my face a very moisturized and silky finish which helps my BB cream spread on better :D

CanCam Makeup Looks + Skinfood Aloe BB Cream Review

Most girls you see on Japanese magazines sport a very natural look, with attention to the eyes. They always line their eyes, put on mascara, and most of the time they wear falsies as well. Their skin always looks FLAWLESS by using liquid foundation/BB Cream and concealer to hide their imperfections. Their cheeks are lightly sweeped with blush and lips are baby pink.

Personally, I like to use Skinfood's Multi-care BB cream in Aloe Sun.

What I love about this BB cream is that it gives me medium to full coverage and it still looks completely natural! Also, it has SPF 20 PA+ which is always a bonus. It gives my face a nice bright, dewy finish and controls oil on my face throughout the day (I have oily-combination skin).

What I don't like about this BB cream is that it only comes in very limited shades (like most other BB creams). I tend to tan EVERY easily in the summer, so my current BB cream no longer matches my skintone and I have to switch to a liquid foundation.

Overall, I give this product a 9/10 (the only 1 off is because of the limited shade selection). I bought mine on Ebay for around $15 CAN (with free shipping too :D)
